Children's Apparel Network recalling girl's outfits

WASHINGTON, April 25 (UPI) -- A New York importer is recalling girls' three-piece outfits with vests, pants and pullover shirt, due to belts that are deemed dangerous, regulators said.

Importer Children's' Apparel Network imported the three-piece outfits from China. They were sold in sizes 12 months to 6X. "Young Hearts" is printed on the label inside the shirt collar.

The vests are pink with a black bow applique on the left front and a pink elastic belt with silver clasps.

About 9,200 outfits are being recalled. The clasps on the belt can become snagged or caught in doors, including car doors, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said in a statement.

They were sold from September-December last year for about $40.

Consumers were advised to remove the belts from the vests or return the set to the retailer for a full refund.

Consumers can call 800-919-1917 for information.
