Carter's recalls one-piece infant clothing

WASHINGTON, April 11 (UPI) -- U.S. safety regulators said Thursday William Carter Co. of Atlanta is recalling 218,000 one-piece, zippered infant outfits due to a choking hazard.

The outfits, sometimes called onesies, have zipper pulls that can detach, posing a choking hazard, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said in a statement.

Consumers were advised to stop using the recalled outfits and return them to Carter's for a full refund.

The outfits were imported from China and sold nationwide from December through January for between $7 and $20.

Consumers can call 888-282-4674 for information.
