Carter's recalls one-piece infant clothing

WASHINGTON, April 11 (UPI) -- U.S. safety regulators said Thursday William Carter Co. of Atlanta is recalling 218,000 one-piece, zippered infant outfits due to a choking hazard.

The outfits, sometimes called onesies, have zipper pulls that can detach, posing a choking hazard, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said in a statement.

The recall includes infant outfits with brand names Baby B'gosh, Child of Mine and Just One You. They were sold in eight styles and in sizes for newborns and infants up to 9 months old.

Consumers were advised to stop using the recalled outfits and return them to Carter's for a full refund.

The outfits were imported from China and sold nationwide from December through January for between $7 and $20.

Consumers can call 888-282-4674 for information.
