
CHICAGO, March 21 (UPI) -- Grain futures prices were mixed on the Chicago Board of Trade Thursday dollar index flat with a slide of 0.06 percent to 82.82 on the International Exchange.
Corn was unchanged to up 3 1/4; soybeans were up 17 3/4 to up 29 1/4; wheat was off 6 to off 7 1/4 and oats were off 1 to off 4 1/4.
Soybean futures soared in anticipation of a planting expectations report expected to show farmers are cutting back acreage dedicated to soybeans in favor of corn after the drought of 2012.

Corn: May 7.33 up 1/2, Jly 7.17 1/4 unchanged, Sep 5.98 1/4 up 3 1/4, Dec 5.68 1/2 up 1 1/2.
Soybeans: May 14.49 up 29 1/4, Jly 14.25 1/2 up 26 1/4, Aug 13.81 1/4 up 22 1/4, Sep 13.12 1/2 up 17 3/4.
Wheat: May 7.28 3/4 off 7 1/4, Jly 7.27 1/2 off 6 1/2, Sep 7.32 3/4 off 6 1/2, Dec. 7.44 1/4 off 6.
Oats: May 3.95 off 4 1/4, Jly 3.87 3/4 off 2, Sep 3.64 1/2 off 1, Dec 3.57 1/2 off 2.
