
CHICAGO, March 14 (UPI) -- Grains closed mixed on the Chicago Board of Trade Thursday, with the dollar index off 0.37 percent to 82.61 on the International Exchange.
Corn was off 8 1/2 to up 6 1/4; soybeans were off 7 to off 17 3/4; wheat was up 7 to up 14 3/4 and oats were up 1 1/2 up 5 1/4.
Corn traded on both sides Thursday with front contract March delivery contracts off 8 1.2 cents, while other contracts made headway. Wheat prices rose with export sales activity on the rebound. Soybean futures dropped for the third consecutive session.

Corn: Mar 7.32 3/4 off 8 1/2; May 7.16 1/2 up 6 1/4; Jly 6.98 1/2 up 6 1/4; Sep 5.84 up 4 3/4.
Soybeans: Mar 14.57 1/4 off 17 3/4; May 14.35 1/2 off 11 1/2; Jly 14.16 off 9; Aug 13.75 3/4 off 7.
Wheat: Mar 7.14 1/4 up 7; May 7.24 3/4 up 14 3/4; Jly 7.20 up 11 3/4; Sep 7.24 1/2 up 10 3/4.
Oats: Mar 4.28 1/2 up 5 1/4; May 3.96 1/2 up 4 1/4; Jly 3.85 1/4, up 2 3/4; Sep 3.73 3/4 up 1 1/2.
