Beef recall announced over E. coli fears

CHICAGO, Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Grains were mixed Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Corn was off 7 1/4 to off 10 3/4; soybeans were off 3 3/4 to up 5 and wheat was off 17 1/4 to off 21 1/4.
The prices:
Corn: Mar 6.90 3/4, off 9 3/4; May 6.85 1/2, off 10 3/4; Jly 6.73 1/4, off 9 1/2; Sep 5.74, off 7 1/4.
Soybeans: Mar 14.87 3/4, up 5; May 14.70 1/2, up 2; Jly 14.54 1/2, off 1 3/4; Aug 14.14, off 3 3/4.
Wheat: Mar 7.21 1/4, off 17 1/4; May 7.24, off 21 1/4; Jly 7.28, off 20; Sep 7.36 1/2, off 19 3/4.
Oats: Mar 3.87 3/4, up 10; May 3.88 1/2, up 5 1/4; Jly 3.82 1/2, up 1/2; Sep 3.77 1/2 off 1/4.
