Britain weighing gasoline price-fixing probe of BP, Shell, Statoil

NEW YORK, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- The price of a barrel of crude oil dropped $1.92 Wednesday to reach $94.74 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Crude oil dropped as the dollar index rose 0.63 percent on the International Exchange.
Natural gas gave up 0.2 cents to $3.268 per million British thermal units.
Gasoline added 3.71 cents to $3.0571 a gallon.
Home heating oil dropped 3.09 cents to $3.1491 a gallon.
At the pump, the national average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline added 1.8 cents to reach $3.766 Wednesday, the AAA Daily Fuel Gauge Report said.
