More to U.S. oil than North Dakota, EIA says

NEW YORK, Feb. 12 (UPI) -- The price of gold rose slightly Tuesday on the New York Mercantile Exchange, with a boost from a weaker dollar.
On the Comex listing, gold added $1.70 to finish at $1,649.60 per troy ounce. Silver gained 8 cents to settled at $31.02 an ounce.
Against the dollar, the euro rose to $1.3456 from Monday's $1.3405. The dollar fell to 93.28 yen from 94.32 yen. The dollar index fell 0.42 percent on the International Exchange to 80.04.
