Crude oil pushes toward $96

NEW YORK, Feb. 1 (UPI) -- The price for a barrel of crude oil added 28 cents to close at $97.77 at the close of the trading session Friday on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Natural gas fell nearly 4 cents to end at $3.30 per million British thermal units.
Gasoline rose 2 cents to settle at $3.05 a gallon at the close of the trading session.
Home heating oil picked up 4 cents to finish at $3.16 a gallon.
At the pump, the national average price of unleaded gasoline rose to $3.462 per gallon from Thursday's $3.4 23 per gallon, AAA said.
The national average price of gasoline has added 13.1 cents during the past week.
