CHICAGO, Jan. 30 (UPI) -- Grain futures closed higher Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade with the dollar index off 0.38 percent to 79.27 on the International Exchange.

Corn was up 6 1/4 to up 11 1/2, soybeans were up 24 1/4 to up 27 3/4, wheat was up 8 1/2 to up 10 and oats were up 1 1/4 to up 2 3/4.

Corn traded higher with support form the weaker dollar and bullish weather conditions in South America. With a lack of significant news, wheat prices rose in sympathy with corn and soybeans.

A rain-delayed harvest in Brazil expected to change to dry, hot weather, was considered bullish for soybeans.
