NEW YORK, Jan. 29 (UPI) -- The price of crude oil pushed slightly higher Tuesday, adding 66 cents to $97.16 per barrel in New York.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, gasoline added 1.22 cents to $2.9435 a gallon. Home heating oil gained 1.6 cents to $3.0659 a gallon.
Natural gas lost 5.3 cent to $3.255 per million British thermal units.
At the pump, AAA reported the national average retail price for regular unleaded gasoline rose to $3.364 per gallon from Monday's $3.349.
