
CHICAGO, Jan. 23 (UPI) -- Grain futures closed mostly lower Wednesday with the dollar broadly higher in Europe and mixed in Asia.
Corn was off 3/4 to off 7 3/4, soybeans were off 10 1/4 to off 14 3/4, wheat was off 10 to off 12 and oats were up 3/4 to up 2 3/4.
Corn and wheat futures took their cue from sharply dropping soybean prices Wednesday.
A weather report calling for rain in Argentina prompted the drop in soybean prices.

Corn: Mar 7.20 3/4 off 7 3/4, May 7.22 3/4 off 7 1/2, Jly 7.17 off 5 1/4, Sep 6.12 off 3/4.
Soybeans: Mar 14.37 off 14 3/4, May 14.26 3/4 off 12 1/2, Jly 14.19 3/4 off 11, Aug 13.94 1/2 off 10 1/4.
Wheat: Mar 7.79 1/4 off 12, May 7.88 1/2 off 11 1/4, Jly 7.93 1/4 off 11 1/4, Sep 8.03 1/2 off 10.
Oats: Mar 3.59 3/4 up 3/4, May 3.67 3/4 up 2 3/4, Jly 3.71 1/2 up 1, Sep 3.70 3/4 up 1.
