More to U.S. oil than North Dakota, EIA says

NEW YORK, Jan. 22 (UPI) -- Gold prices dropped slightly Tuesday, shedding 90 cents to settle at $1,692.40 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Silver added 2 cents to close at $32.20 an ounce.
Against the dollar, the euro was $1.3322 from Friday's $1.3313. The dollar dropped against the yen, hitting 88.78 yen from 89.62 yen.
