
CHICAGO, Jan. 11 (UPI) -- Grain futures were mixed on the Chicago Board of Trade with the dollar index dropping 0.3 percent to 79.55 on the International Exchange.
Corn was off 5 1/4 to up 10, soybeans were off 9 3/4 to up 7 1/4, wheat was up 5 1/4 to up 10 1/4 and oats were up 7 to up 7 3/4.
Corn prices were mixed with Friday's production report viewed as primarily bullish.
Wheat futures rose in sympathy with corn with a U.S. Department of Agriculture report saying a higher-than-expected amount of grain was going to animal feed after the drought of 2012.
Soybeans prices were also mixed as predicted production increase for 2013 was largely expected.

Corn: Mar 7.08 3/4 up 10, May 7.07 up 9 1/2, Jly 6.98 3/4 up 8 1/4, Sep 6.02 off 5 1/4.
Soybeans: Jan 14.24 3/4 up 7 1/4, Mar 13.73 1/4 off 6 1/2, May 13.64 off 7 1/2, Jly 13.57 1/2 off 9 3/4.
Wheat: Mar 7.54 3/4 up 10 1/4, May 7.62 up 8 1/2, Jly 7.67 up 6 3/4, Sep 7.76 up 5 1/4.
Oats: Mar 3.46 3/4 up 7 1/4, May 3.52 1/4 up 7 1/4, Jly 3.57 1/2 up 7, Sep 3.60 up 7 3/4.
