OTTAWA, Dec. 7 (UPI) --
The unemployment rate in Canada dropped two ticks in October, from 7.4 to 7.2 percent, with the addition of 59,000 new jobs, Statistics Canada said Friday.
Most of the new jobs were posted by Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, Manitoba and Prince Edward Island. The other provinces had little change, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported.
