
CHICAGO, Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Grain futures prices closed mixed Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Corn was off 5 1/2 to off 6 1/4, soybeans up 12 to up 13, wheat was up 2 to up 3 1/2 and oats were off 3/4 to up 1 1/4.
Corn prices shifter lower and gains in wheat were limited, with the dollar index up 0.58 percent and export figures less than expected, indicating slack demand. Soybean futures firmed, with weekly export figures beating trader expectations on sales of 1.1 million metric tons for 2012-2013 and 1,100 metric tons for 2013-2014.

Corn: Dec 7.47 3/4 off 5 1/2, Mar 7.51 1/2 off 6 1/4, May 7.53 off 5 1/2, Jly 7.47 off 5 3/4.
Soybeans: Jan 14.91 1/4 up 12, Mar 14.86 up 12 1/4, May 14.63 3/4 up 13, Jly 14.51 1/2 up 12.
Wheat: Dec 8.45 1/4 up 3, Mar 8.62 up 2, May 8.71 up 2 1/2, Jly 8.73 up 3 1/2.
Oats: Dec 3.81 1/4 up 1 1/4, Mar 3.98 up 1, May 4.01 1/4 unchanged, Jly 3.98 1/2 off 3/4.
