API wants desks cleared of LNG export plans


NEW YORK, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices climbed sharply during the weekend, headed for $89 per barrel Monday on renewed tension between Israelis and Palestinians
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, West Texas Intermediate crude oil added $2.03 to reach $88.95 per barrel. Reformulated blendstock gasoline gained 0.45 cents to $2.7506 per gallon. Home heating oil prices added 0.75 cents to $3.0826 per gallon.
Natural gas prices added 1.9 cents to $3.738 per million British thermal units.
At the pump, the national average price of unleaded gasoline fell to $3.416 per gallon from Sunday's $3.418, AAA said.
