

NEW YORK, Oct. 18 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices were little changed Thursday, closing 6 cents lower at $91.97 per barrel after stockpiles rose in the week ending Friday.
Crude oil inventory rose by 2.9 million barrels in the week, the U.S. Energy Information Administration said.
Stocks reached 369.2 million barrels and are higher than the upper limit of the average range for this time of year.
November delivery West Texas Intermediate crude oil dropped overnight, but prices climbed back just short of the starting point on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Natural gas prices added 1.18 cents to $3.588 per million British thermal units. Home heating oil gained 0.08 cents to $3.1588 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline gained 4.46 cents to $2.7538 per gallon.
At the pump, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $3.737 per gallon, down from Wednesday's $3.756, AAA reported.
