NEW YORK, Oct. 10 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices held steady near $92 per barrel Wednesday as traders waited for a weekly inventory report due in the afternoon.

Prices remain elevated from Monday as border skirmishes between Turkey and Syria have traders concerned about possible supply disruptions.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange, West Texas Intermediate crude for November delivery added 18 cents in late trading to $91.25 per barrel. Natural gas prices gained 1.5 cents to $3.482 per million British thermal units. Home heating oil added 1.42 cents to $3.2174 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline dropped 0.23 cents to $2.9564 per gallon.

At the pump, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $3.813 per gallon, down from Tuesday's $3.815, AAA reported.
