Oil prices stay under $90

NEW YORK, Oct. 8 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices held under $90 per barrel Monday.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange, West Texas Intermediate crude for November delivery shed 33 cents to $89.75 per gallon. Natural gas prices added 0.15 cents to $3.418 per million British thermal units. Home heating oil added 0.97 cents to $3.154 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline was up 1.15 cents to $2.9046 per gallon.

At the pump, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $3.818 per gallon, up from Sunday's $3.814, AAA reported.
