NEW YORK, Oct. 1 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices moved higher but fell short of hitting $93 a barrel despite mostly higher equities Monday in Asia and Europe.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, West Texas Intermediate crude oil for November delivery added 61 cents to $92.43. Natural gas prices shed 0.9 cents to $3.485 per million British thermal units. Home heating oil added 0.16 cents to $3.1374 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline lost 0.1 cents to $2.9191 per gallon.
