Crude oil pushes toward $96

NEW YORK, Sept. 28 (UPI) -- Gold prices ended the day lower Friday on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange.
On the International Exchange, the dollar index reached 79.958 from Thursday's 79.560.
The euro fell to $1.2866 from Thursday's $1.2912. Against the yen, the dollar rose to 77.92 yen from 77.62 yen.
Gold for December delivery was down $6.60, 0.4 percent, to $1,773.90 per troy ounce.
