API wants desks cleared of LNG export plans

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis., Sept. 18 (UPI) -- Kohl's Department Store said it had plans to hire 52,700 seasonal workers at its 1,146 U.S. stores this year.
That's a 10 percent increase over seasonal hiring in 2011, CNNMoney reported Tuesday.
On average, Kohl's is planning to hire 41 workers per store and an additional 5,700 workers at distribution centers.
The company, which has already begun hiring for seasonal work, said most of the jobs would be in material handling, stocking shelves and running cash registers, plus 30 seasonal jobs that will be created in "credit operations."
The company expects the seasonal hiring to be completed by mid-November.
