COLUMBUS, Ohio, Aug. 8 (UPI) -- U.S. fast-food giant McDonald's now offers "Breakfast After Midnight" a limited menu of some of its more popular morning foods for the late-night crowd.
Most of Central Ohio's 127 McDonald's restaurants offer Breakfast After Midnight -- which includes Egg McMuffin, Sausage McMuffin, pancakes with sausage, breakfast burritos, oatmeal, hash browns, juice and coffee, the Columbus, Ohio, Business First reported Tuesday.
Only those stores that aren't 24-hour operations are exempt, a McDonald's spokeswoman said. If the McDonald's is open around the clock the entire week or just on weekends, it will have a limited breakfast menu.
Breakfasts account for roughly a quarter of a fast-food restaurant's total sales, Business First said. Dublin, Ohio-based Wendy's Co. has tested breakfast for several years, while Subway and Taco Bell also entered the breakfast market within the past few years.
