MOSCOW, July 18 (UPI) --
Russia's upper House of Parliament Wednesday took the country a step closer to joining the World Trade Organization.
Lawmakers approved a bill to ratify the country's entry into the organization.
As the final step before executive approval, the issue that has been debated for 18 years in Moscow is now headed for a signature by President Vladimir Putin, ITAR-Tass reported.
