Gallup: Family of four needs an average $58,000 a year

NEW YORK, May 21 (UPI) -- Crude oil rose Monday but fell just short of $93 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange as equities made headway on Wall Street.
Oil prices also found support from a slightly lower dollar, the dollar index off 0.18 percent on the International Exchange.
West Texas Intermediate crude for June delivery added 38 cents to $92.95 per barrel. Natural gas for June delivery added 2.9 cents to hit $2.638 per million British thermal units after a four-week inventory buildup.
Home heating oil was up 0.77 cents to $2.868 per gallon.
Gasoline added 0.55 cents to reach $2.9456 per gallon.
At the pump, the national average price of unleaded gasoline fell Monday to 3.689 per gallon from Sunday's $3.690, AAA said.
