Crude oil pushes toward $96

WASHINGTON, April 27 (UPI) -- Gold prices rose $4.30 Friday on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, ending the session at $1,664.80 an ounce.
Silver added 14 cents to close at $31.35 an ounce.
The euro was $1.3257 from Thursday's $1.3214, while the British pound was $1.6268 from Thursday's $1.6173.
Against the Japanese yen, the dollar was 80.40 from 81.04 yen Thursday. The dollar was at 7.7592 Hong Kong dollars from 7.7598.
The dollar rose to 0.8846 Canadian dollars from 0.9853. The Australian dollar was $1.0466 from $1.0384.
