
CHICAGO, April 25 (UPI) -- Grain futures were mixed in Chicago Wednesday, with some support coming from a slightly weaker dollar -- the dollar index off 0.15 percent.
Corn was off 3 1/2 to off 7 1/4, soybeans were up 8 to up 12 1/4, wheat was off 5 1/2 to off 8 and oats were unchanged to off 1.
Corn futures closed lower with funds selling close to 12,000 contracts in the trading session. Wheat traded higher on abating fears that a cold snap would disrupt young crop progress. Soybeans prices rallied on rumors that China would be buying from U.S. sources in the near term.

Corn: May 6.11 off 7 1/4, Jly 6.01 off 7, Sep 5.49 off 6 1/2, Dec 5.38 off 3 1/2.
Soybeans: May 14.73 1/2 up 12 1/4, Jly 14.76 up 11, Aug 14.58 1/2 up 8, Sep 14.11 up 12 1/4.
Wheat: May 6.6 1/2 off 8, Jly 6.26 1/2 off 6, Sep 6.41 3/4 off 5 3/4, Dec 6.65 3/4 off 5 1/2.
Oats: May 3.39 1/4 off 1, Jly 3.41 3/4 off 3/4, Sep 3.44 1/2 unchanged, Dec 3.46 3/4 off 1 1/4.
