
CHICAGO, April 24 (UPI) -- Grain futures were mostly higher in Chicago Tuesday, as grains found support from a weaker dollar -- the dollar index off 0.21 percent.
Corn was off 4 1/2 to up 3/4, soybeans were up 17 to up 24, wheat was unchanged to off 3/4 and oats were up 12 to up 16.
Corn futures were mixed, with support from a sale of 480,000 metric tons to an unnamed destination. Wheat traded in a narrow margin, with support from wheat in Chicago steadier than prices in Kansas City or Minneapolis. Soybeans prices rallied on rumors of lower than expected production figures in South America.

Wheat: May 6.24 1/2 off 1/2, Jly 6.32 1/2 unchanged, Sep 6.47 1/2 off 3/4, Dec 6.71 1/4 off 3/4.
Oats: May 3.40 1/4 up 14 1/4, Jly 3.42 1/2 up 15 3/4, Sep 3.44 1/2 up 16, Dec 3.48 up 12.
