
CHICAGO, April 23 (UPI) -- Grain futures were mixed Monday in Chicago as weather, while unseasonably cold, is not expected to remain wet for the week, allowing field work to resume.
Corn was up 8 3/4 to up 10, soybeans were off 8 1/2 to off 14, wheat was up 9 1/4 to up 10 1/4 and oats were up 1 1/4 to up 3 3/4.
Corn higher on speculation that China could re-enter the market soon. Wheat prices also rose with buying prompted by the cold weather. Soybeans were lower with the dollar turning higher and weekly export inspections at 12 million bushes well below expectations.

Corn: May 6.22 1/2 up 10, Jly 6.12 1/2 up 9 1/2, Sep 5.54 3/4 up 9 3/4, Dec 5.45 1/2 up 8 3/4.
Soybeans: May 14.37 1/4 off 9 1/2, Jly 14.41 off 8 1/2, Aug 14.26 1/2 off 11, Sep 13.81 3/4 off 14.
Wheat: May 6.25 up 9 1/4, Jly 6.32 1/2 up 9 1/2, Sep 6.48 1/4 up 9 1/2, Dec 6.72 up 10 1/4.
Oats: May 3.26 up 3 3/4, Jly 3.26 3/4 up 2 1/2, Sep 3.28 1/2 up 1 1/4, Dec 3.36 up 2.
