New Navy submarine completes trials
NEW YORK, April 23 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices slid to $103 per barrel in New York Monday after equities turned lower on three continents.
Stocks dropped in Asia, across Europe and on Wall Street. The dollar was mixed in Asia, higher in Europe.
West Texas Intermediate crude oil for June delivery gave up 74 cents to hit $103.14 on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Home heating oil prices added 0.51 cents in late trading to $3.148 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline shed 0.11 cents to $3.1465 per gallon.
Natural gas prices added 1.2 cents to $2.019 per million British thermal units, helped by an unseasonable return of winter weather in the Midwest and Northeast.
At the pump, the national average price of unleaded gasoline dropped to $3.858 per gallon Monday from Sunday's $3.863, AAA said.
