
CHICAGO, April 12 (UPI) -- Grain futures rose on the Chicago Board of Trade with support from the dollar index, which fell 0.51 percent on the International Exchange.
Corn was unchanged to up 2, soybeans were off 16 1/4 to up 20 1/4, wheat was up 4 1/2 to up 11 1/4 and oats were up 4 to up 5 1/2.
Corn prices made slight gains with solid weekly export sales and weather forecasts that included rain, which kept gains in check. Wheat futures rose with the weaker dollar offsetting favorable weather in the U.S. plains and in Europe. Sales of 115,000 metric tons of soybeans to China were reported Thursday with 55,000 metric tons of old crop and 60,000 metric tons from the 2012 to 2013 season.

Corn: May 6.37 1/2 up 1 1/2, Jly 6.29 up 2, Sep 5.64 1/2 up 1/4, Dec 5.46 3/4 unchanged.
Soybeans: May 14.41 up 19, Jly 14.44 1/2 up 20 1/4, Aug 14.32 up 19 3/4, Sep 13.99 1/4 up 16 1/4.
Wheat: May 6.39 1/4 up 11 1/4, Jly 6.44 1/2 up 11, Sep 6.57 up 6 1/2, Dec 6.77 1/2 up 4 1/2.
Oats: May 3.34 up 4 3/4, Jly 3.37 up 4 1/2, Sep 3.36 up 5 1/2, Dec 3.38 up 4.
