NEW YORK, April 9 (UPI) -- West Texas Intermediate crude oil for May delivery settled close to $102 on the New York Mercantile Exchange Monday.

WTI crude oil lost $1.02 to $102.29 after the U.S. Labor Department said Friday the U.S. economy gained 120,000 jobs in March, far less than was expected.

Home heating oil was unchanged at $3.1459 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline shed 4 cents to $3.2963 per gallon.

Natural gas prices added 4 cents to $2.111 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, the national average price of unleaded gasoline dropped slightly to $3.927 per gallon from Sunday's $3.929, AAA said.
