Beef recall announced over E. coli fears

NEW YORK, March 30 (UPI) -- Crude oil futures closed higher Friday on the New York Mercantile Exchange, gaining 24 cents (0.2 percent) and settling at $103.02 a barrel.
Natural gas was off 2 cents (1.1 percent) and ended the session at $2.13 per million British thermal units, its lowest since early February 2002.
Home heating oil ended the session $3.17 a gallon, picking up less than 1 cent (0.3 percent).
Gasoline dropped a penny (0.3 percent), closing at $3.39 a gallon.
The national average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline rose to $3.925 Friday, up from Thursday's $3.921, AAA said.
