
CHICAGO, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Grain futures were mixed at the close Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Corn was down 4 1/2 to 6 , soybeans were up 2 to 3, wheat was down 7 to 9 and oats were down 1 3/4 to up 2 1/2.
Old-crop soybean contracts were higher on South American crop concerns and supportive export demand.
Corn futures were mixed through the day but ended lower as traders took advantage of the strength of the dollar Tuesday.
Chicago wheat was also lower due to the dollar, which strengthened in late trade.

Corn: Mar 6.33 1/2 down 6, May 6.38 down 5, Jly 6.41 1/2 down 4 1/2, Sep 5.90 1/4 down 1 1/4.
Soybeans: Mar 12.55 up 3, May 12.62 1/2 up 2 1/2, Jly 12.71 1/4 up 2 1/2 , Aug 12.68 1/2 up 2.
Wheat: Mar 6.35 down 6 1/4, May 6.39 down 7 1/2, Jly 6.49 3/4 down 7 1/2, Sep 6.67 down 7 1/2.
Oats: Mar 3.23 1/4 down 1 3/4, May 3.14 3/4 up 3/4, Jly 3.12 3/4 up 1 1/2, Sep 3.12 up 2 1/2.
