U.S. markets recover from steep losses

NEW YORK, Feb. 13 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices turned higher Monday in New York, climbing toward $101 per barrel in a comeback from Friday's slide.
Light, sweet, West Texas Intermediate crude held within a recent range between $97 and $101 per barrel. On the New York Mercantile Exchange, light, sweet West Texas Intermediate crude oil settled at $100.57 per barrel.
Home heating oil lost 0.16 cents to $3.1584 per gallon. Reformulated gasoline shed 1.3 cents to reach $2.9995 per gallon.
Henry Hub natural gas prices added 1.4 cents to $2.445 per million British thermal units.
At the pump, the national average price of unleaded gasoline rose to $3.511 per gallon Monday from Sunday's $3.509, AAA said.
