
CHICAGO, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Grains futures on the Chicago Board of Trade closed mostly lower with the U.S. dollar slightly higher Wednesday.
Corn was off 1 3/4 to up 1/4, soybeans were off 1/2 to off 1, wheat was off 1 1/2 to off 6 3/4 and oats were off 4 to up 1/4.
Corn futures closed mixed with the dollar index up 0.17 percent and the U.S. Department of Agriculture supply/demand report showing production at its lowest level since the week of Nov. 18. Wheat futures dropped with talk of overbought conditions of the market. Soybeans dropped with beneficial rain falling in Argentina. The USDA supply/demand report showed little change in thew week, except for a sharp reduction in production in South America.

Corn: Mar 6.42 1/2 up 1/4, May 6.48 off 1/2, Jly 6.52 1/4 off 1/4, Sep 5.96 3/4 off 1 3/4.
Soybeans: Mar 12.31 1/2 off 1/2, May 12.40 off 1, Jly 12.49 3/4 off 1, Aug 12.48 off 1.
Wheat: Mar 6.60 3/4 off 1 1/2, May 6.68 1/2 off 3 3/4, Jly 6.79 off 5 3/4, Sep 6.93 3/4 off 6 3/4.
Oats: Mar 3.28 3/4 up 1/4, May 3.13 off 4, Jly 3.11 off 4, Sep 3.11 off 4.
