
CHICAGO, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- Corn finished mixed but wheat, soybeans and oats closed slightly higher on the Chicago Board of Trade Monday.
Corn was off 1/4 to up 3/4, soybeans were up 1/2 to up 1 1/2, wheat was off 3 to up 7 3/4, oats were up 9 to up 12 3/4.
Corn futures were little changed with March corn slightly lower and traders expecting ending stocks in Thursday's supply/demand summary to show a decline of about 55 million bushels. Wheat futures found support with weekly export inspections, at 14.5 million bushels, short of expectations. Gains in soybean futures were held in check by reports of improved crop conditions in Brazil.
Corn: Mar 6.44 1/4 off 1/4, May 6.51 1/4 up 1/2, Jly 6.56 1/4 up 3/4, Sep 6.05 1/4 up 1/2.
Soybeans: Mar 12.33 up 1/2, May 12.42 up 1 1/4, Jly 12.51 3/4 up 1 1/2, Aug 12.49 1/2 up 1 1/2.
Wheat: Mar 6.68 1/2 up 7 3/4, May 6.79 3/4 up 5 3/4, Jly 6.92 up 3, Sep 7.09 1/4 up 3 1/4.
Oats: Mar 3.27 up 12 3/4, May 3.20 3/4 up 12 3/4, Jly 3.19 3/4 up 11 3/4, Sep 3.18 up 9.
