Crude oil closes under $95 a barrel

NEW YORK, Dec. 14 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices fell below $95 a barrel Wednesday, losing $5.19 to close at $94.95 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Home heating oil fell 9.9 cents to settle at $2.83 a gallon.

Gasoline closed at $2.50 a gallon, off 12.1 cents.

Henry Hub natural gas picked up less than a penny, closing at $3.145 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, the national average price of unleaded gasoline dropped slightly from Tuesday's $3.269 per gallon to $3.264, AAA said.
