Crude oil pushes toward $96

WASHINGTON, Nov. 29 (UPI) -- U.S. home prices rose 0.9 percent in September compared to August, the Federal Housing Finance Agency said Tuesday.
Of the nine districts tracked, only the East-South-Central district showed prices in decline compared to August, the agency said.
The agency's House Price Index tracks prices for homes with mortgages backed by either the Federal National Mortgage Association or the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp.
Data shows home prices for the third quarter rose 0.2 percent over the second quarter and fell 3.7 percent from the third quarter of 2010.
