Gold prices up slightly

NEW YORK, Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Gold prices rose slightly Tuesday, reflecting the muted action in equity markets.

Gold added $3.90 to reach $1,782.30 per troy ounce on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Silver added 54 cents to $34.57 per ounce

West Texas Intermediate crude oil added $1.23 to $99.37 per barrel.

The euro fell to $1.3537 from Monday's $1.3634. Against the yen, the dollar fell to 77.06 yen from Monday's 77.07 yen.

The British pound fell to $1.5823 from Monday's $1.591. Against the Hong Kong dollar, the U.S. standard rose to 7.7827 HKD from 7.7812 HKD.

The dollar rose to 1.0207 Canadian from 1.0165 Canadian. The Australian dollar fell to $1.0176 from Monday's $1.01205.
