WASHINGTON, Sept. 30 (UPI) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of LM Import & Export toy cars that have excessive lead in the surface paint.

The toy cars were imported from China and sold nationwide from September 2010 through January 2011 for about $2.50 per set.

They were sold in packages of four to six cars, which are painted silver, black or blue and have red stickers with "super," "max" and "racing" labeled on the top and sides of the cars.

They were sold exclusively at Mega Wholesale stores in Miami.

Consumers were advised to take the toys from children and return them to the store for a full refund.
