U.S. markets recover from steep losses

BURBANK, Calif., Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Walt Disney Co. said Robert Chapek, president of distribution, would replace Andrew Mooney at the head of the consumer products unit.
Mooney is departing to take on an executive position elsewhere, The Hollywood Reporter said Saturday without naming Mooney's destination.
Disney said Chapek would report to Chief Executive Officer Robert Iger, as he heads the company-wide product division that includes merchandise, DVDs, games and licensing for Walt Disney Studios, Pixar, Marvel, Media Networks, Interactive Media and Consumer Products.
"As the retail market becomes more centralized, it is important to provide the consumer with an array of choices in a seamless, coordinated way," Iger said in a statement.
