MOSCOW, Aug. 3 (UPI) -- The head of a recruitment office in Russia said eBay and PayPal will likely open offices in Russia this fall.

"There are rumors that this fall, the five largest Internet companies will search for key employees in Russia," Alyona Vladimirskaya, the head of recruitment agency Pruffi, wrote on Facebook.

Vladimirskaya named online payment service PayPal and its parent company eBay, RIA Novosti reported Wednesday.

PayPal could not be reached for comment, the news agency said.

Business journal Vedomosti reported Wednesday PayPal's initial investment in Russia would be $25 million.
