WASHINGTON, Feb. 17 (UPI) -- Disney Parks and Resorts is recalling watches with metal backs that can cause skin irritation in children, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said.

The watches featuring Disney characters Buzz Lightyear, Tinker Bell and Lightning McQueen have backs made of nickel and steel, which can cause a skin irritation when interacting with the watch's battery, the commission said in a statement.

The watches were imported from China and sold at Disney Resort outlets, on the Disney Cruise ships and The Magic of Disney Shop at the Orlando International Airport in Florida from November 2010 through January 2011 for about $30.

The tracking code on engraved on the back of the watch is K130-6377-7-10187.

Consumers were advised to take the watches away from children and contact Walt Disney Parks and Resorts of Lake Buena Visa, Fla., to receive a $40 refund.

Consumers can call 877-560-6477 for information.
