The Consumer Product Safety Commission said two of the motorized carts, which are also used as utility or hospitality transport vehicles, reportedly included brake pedals that split apart.
They were sold nationwide from April 2010 through July 2010 for between $6,000 and $17,000.
The recall involves Model 2010 DS golf carts, hospitality cars and utility carts.
Club Car said it was offering a free inspection and a replacement brake pedal.
