Iran shipping line masks 'arms vessels'

WASHINGTON, Sept. 1 (UPI) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of Kompan Inc. swing sets due to a fall hazard.
About 700 swing sets were sold by Kompan Inc., of Tacoma, Wash., and BigToys Inc., of Olympia Wash., from January 1998 to December 2008 for between $750 and $3,250.
A joint connecting the horizontal top beam and a vertical end bracket can break, resulting in a fall to those using the swing set, the commission said in a statement.
The recall involves various models of "To Fro" model swing sets.
Consumers were advised to stop using the swing sets and contact Kompan for a retrofit kit that will correct the problem.
Consumers can call 800-624-4869 for information.
