Crude oil prices slip Wednesday

NEW YORK, June 30 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices dropped close to $75 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange Wednesday as the dollar index was virtually flat.

Crude oil prices for August delivery shed 55 cents from a prior settlement to $75.39 per barrel. Heating oil prices shed 0.0342 cents to $1.9871 per gallon. Reformulated gasoline blendstock prices was unchanged at $2.072 per gallon.

Henry Hub natural gas added 0.07 cents $4.618 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, the national average price for unleaded regular gasoline was unchanged Wednesday at $2.755 per gallon, AAA said.
