WASHINGTON, May 7 (UPI) -- Regulators in Washington announced a voluntary recall of Roberta Roller Rabbit kimono robes and pajamas due to a violation of federal flammability standards.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Roberta Roller Rabbit by Roberta Freymann of New York sold about 9,200 Kimono Robe, Lounge Sets and Slumber Short Sets at retail stores in East Hampton, N.Y., and Santa Monica, Calif., for about $50 each.
The garments, imported from India, were on sale from January 2005 through this February.
The commission said the sleepwear fails to meet federal standards regarding flammability.
The recall involves garments in sizes 0 through 10. A yellow label on the inside identifies the garments as "Roberta Roller Rabbit."
Consumers were advised to stop using the robes and pajamas and return them to Roberta Roller Rabbit for a store credit.
Consumers can call 877-449-0604 for information.
