Byer California girls' jackets recalled

WASHINGTON, March 10 (UPI) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of Byer California girls' jackets with drawstrings due to a strangulation hazard.

The girls' Cargo Pocket Jackets have a drawstring around the neck of the garment that poses a strangulation risk to children, the commission said in a statement.
