Drones over U.S. may pose security risks

BERLIN, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- China is now the world's No. 1 exporter, surpassing Germany, figures released by Germany Tuesday show.
The German Federal Statistical Office said Chinese exports reached $1.2 trillion last year, edging Germany's $1.1 trillion total, The New York Times reported.
Germany had held the top spot since 2003 when it moved ahead of the United States.
China pushed to the pinnacle of exporting through its size -- it has 15 times Germany's population -- and the global economic malaise, the Times said.
The Federation of German Industries said "it had only been a question of time" before China would become the world's top exporter.
